What makes humans different from animals?
Humans are the most intelligent of all species of animals on Earth, which is why we are the most successful creatures on Earth. We are also the only animals which are affecting its own ecosystem and interfering with the process of evolution of life. The animals that are the closest to humans are monkeys, and their intelligence level is not even half of a human's. Humans are the only species with highly advanced technology, unlike monkeys which use simple tools. We have invented things such as electronic devices, writing and many more.
HUmans and Animals:
Although humans and animals are very different in many ways, humans have domesticated animals so that they are tame and they get along with people. Some of these are used to help with human work, some are used as pets, and others are used in races. Many wild and domesticated species are becoming endangered because of human actions such as poaching and overfishing. Without animals, the ecosystem would be very unbalanced, which would result in the extinction of humans as well.
WHat can we do to help endangered species?
Some of the many ways to help is to buy responsibly caught fish, which will help reduce overfishing which can trap and kill dolphins, sharks, turtles and other fish. Another way is to stop littering, because this rubbish ends up in the ocean. Many sea animals like the turtle mistake this rubbish as jellyfish, a common food for these animals, and choke on them. Smaller animals such as fish caught trapped in plastic and suffocate. The most important way is to warn other people about this problem, so they can take action to prevent this from happening.
